I was born in Loudon County and moved to Maryville before I started kindergarten. East Tennessee isn’t a market I learned — it’s home. The mountains, the small-town pride, the neighbors who’ll wave at you whether they know you or not. For more than two decades, I’ve helped clients buy and sell across Blount, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Anderson, and Sevier counties, and after 21 years, I still get excited handing over keys.
I grew up one of eight children in a lively household. That early life taught me to listen, to adapt, and to appreciate the many different paths people take — and it shaped why I got into real estate in the first place. I wanted to build a life where my own children could grow up rooted in this community and truly thrive. They did. My husband and I raised two hardworking kids together, and both were homeowners by age 22 — something that still makes me smile, and a big part of why I have such a soft spot for first-time buyers.
Over 21 years I’ve walked alongside first-time buyers, and those upsizing into their forever home, empty-nesters downsizing into something easier to manage, buyers chasing rural acreage and lake views, and clients building from the ground up. Earning the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation was a way to formalize what I was already doing: putting my buyers’ interests first.
One of the great privileges of this work is meeting people who’ve lived full, fascinating lives and getting to hear their stories. Every client brings a new perspective. When I’m not working, my husband and I love to travel — but I always come back curious about people, and grateful for the part of the world we get to call home. I’m a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church, and I volunteer with The Community Food Connection of Blount County, because this community gave a lot to me, and I’m not done giving back.
